Beaded Beads:
Learn to create these beautiful beaded beads with Cynthia Nixon. The variations are endless~ see our facebook page for more pictures! Beginners welcome!

Beaded Bead w/ Tassle: 
with Cynthia Nixon. Learn to make these fabulous beaded beads using Swarovski crystals, Czech glass and Delicas.

Butterfly Bracelet:
with Cynthia Nixon.  Make this wonderful little bracelet using Swarovski crystals to create a butterfly pattern! Beginners welcome!

Pearl and Fluerette Bracelet:
with Cynthia Nixon. Create this fantastic bracelet using Swarovski crystals, pearls and Delicas.

Fleurette Right Angle Weave:
with Cynthia Nixon. Learn to create simple and fun right angle weave bracelet design using Swarovski crystal and fire polished Czech glass. Beginners welcome!

Byzantine Chain Maille Bracelet:
Learn to create the ancient chain maille technique, the Byzantine. We will create a beautiful bracelet using only jump rings and pliers (and a clasp)!
$40 class plus materials (Base metal, about $9)


Earrings of the Month: We will be doing easy pairs of earrings, and changing it up each month. These are great little projects for a beginner.
This month we are using chain, wire and beautiful gemstones to create these elegant dangles. It's also very easy to do variations on this theme. See shop for more samples!

Viking Weave Bracelet: Learn the Viking Weave technique. This is an intermediate class, students should know how to do a basic wire wrap so we can focus on the weaving.
Bracelets can be made to suit any style; copper, bronze, sterling or gold filled wire can be used. Beads can be any color you wish! Pictured is a raw black tourmaline crystal with onyx, rutilated quartz and sterling.

$45 class. $15 and up for materials, depending on metals and beads.

Beaded Beads: Learn to make basic beaded beads. We will make three beads using different Czech glass beads and Swarovski crystals. These make nice focal pieces simply strung on leather or silk, or of course they can be  incorporated into beaded designs! 

$30 class. Materials $20

Basic Beading: This is the class you need if you're just getting started! We create a single strand necklace on beading wire and most importantly, learn how to crimp the crimp beads and securely attach the clasp! We also cover bead store basics such as wires, tools, etc.

$30 class plus materials (from $10-$30 avg).  2.5- 3 hour class.

Basic Earrings: This class is highly recommended if you are just getting started, or just need to polish up your wire wrapping skills.

We learn the wire wrapping technique used not only for earrings, but for many jewelry purposes. We also learn to attach wire wraps to chain for a pair of earrings that broaden your design skills and look great!

$30 class plus materials (around $10).  2 hour class.

Dutch Spiral Bracelet: We will be making a pretty Dutch Spiral bracelet with a clasp attached. While many students complete the bracelet in class, not all students get through the entire project in one sitting.  However, you will know how to finish it!

$30 plus ~$6 materials. You'll need a clasp and two tubes of seed beads, and you'll have lots left over! Please choose seed bead colors before class. (See shop for details)

Gemstone & Chain Necklace: We create a double strand chain necklace studded with gemstone rondelles or briolettes such as emerald, ruby, sapphire, citrine (and more) using fine wire wrapping techniques. Bring your glasses!

$45 class. Materials approx. $25 and up

Make Your Own Earwires: Learn to create several styles of earwires in order to make outstanding earrings! We will make at least three different styles using sterling, silver filled, or gold filled wire, hammer and bench block and a variety of wire working tools.

$40 class. Materials under $10.

Making Clasps: Learn to create clasps using copper and sterling wires, hammer and anvil, beads and pearls. You will make at least three clasps, and there will be discussion about  how to take the techniques to new levels.

$45 class Materials approx $10-15

Pearl Cuff Bracelet: We will make beautiful cuff bracelets using wires and pearls. If you have random pearls in 6mm or smaller, bring them, if not, we have many loose pearls to choose from. We will also use three coin pearls. This is an intermediate wire working class; you should know how to do basic wire wraps and be familiar with using your pliers.

$45 class. Materials:

Peyote Stitch Tube Earrings: Learn to make peyote stitch tubes, fun little beads that we will make into earrings, and have a thousand variations!  The beads pictured here are strung onto a necklace; however in the class we will make them into earrings. You can use any seed bead (Delica) colors imaginable!

$30 + materials

Precious Metal Wire Bracelet Class: We will create a bracelet and clasp from sterling wire, adding bead accents, of course! Beads need to have about a 1.5mm hole. This is more of an intermediate class. You will do better if you have experience with wire and pliers. 

$50 class. Materials: sterling wire is $19, plus beads. Gold filled is extra, but looks great! Class is 2.5- 3 hours.

Right Angle Weave Bracelet: Create a beautiful sparkling bracelet using the traditional beading technique, the right angle weave. The bracelet shown here has purple freshwater pearls with amethyst Swarovski crystals and seed beads. You can choose any color you like!

$30 + materials

Simple Wire Wrapped Ring Class: Learn to create different simple wire wrapped rings adding small stones or beads. We will make (at least) two pieces.  Great class to get started making rings!

$25 class. Materials: approx. $10-12.

Torch Days: Occasionally we have Torch Day, an opportunity to try your hand at lampworking glass beads. Steve will teach basic techniques as well as a few fun tricks. If you need to learn about setting up your torch, just let Steve know and he can help with that as well!

Each student has their own torch at which to work.  Two spaces available for each session.

$75 class. Materials: $15

Traditional Pearl Knotting: We will learn to knot pearls on silk and attach a clasp using bead tips, creating a finished pearl necklace. Other finishing methods will be discussed, as well as pros and cons of knotting different beads.

$55 class fee includes silk and bead tips. Pearls and clasp are additional (from $5- $60 avg.)

Wire Wrapped Pendant Class: Steve is teaching his technique for wrapping stone pendants with sterling, copper, or gold-filled wire. This class has been a great success; everyone has been making beautiful focal pieces! It is easier if the student has already done simple wire wrapping, or is familiar with using the pliers.

$45 class. Materials: about $15 for 2 spools of copper and a stone, or $20 for just enough sterling wire and a stone. Class is 3 hours.
